Perks & Benefits Upscale comfort food served at The Kling House Family-owned and operated since 1954 Non-traditional retail and food service hours - Closed evenings and Sundays Scheduling flexibility for work/life balance 20% discount at all Kitchen Kettle Foods and Burnley Enterprise shops Employee fun days Learning and development opportunities What You'll Do Cook and prepare a variety of food products, meats, vegetables, poultry, sauces, soups, desserts and other food products using a variety of equipment and utensils according to daily needs Understand and abide by the company's cooking methods, kitchen rules, policies and procedures Record HACCP log daily Comply with all food safety standards Perform all position extra duties as dictated by guest volume demands Interact with all team members in a positive productive manner Consistently comply with our portion and quality standards Able to handle a knife efficiently and safety Receive and check in daily deliveries accurately and put away in proper location Maintain organization in all product storage areas (dry goods, walk-in coolers, etc.) Thorough and timely cleaning of entire work area at the close of business Willing to assist in other food service related areas Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays as needed Perform all other duties as required or assigned. What You Bring Previous kitchen experience necessary Basic cooking methods Team work Proficient written and verbal skills Ability to read and follow a recipe Ability to multitask Strong attention to detail
