Do you love crafting beautiful cheese boards? Sonoma Wine & Cheese is hiring cooks for our Katy and Garden Oaks locations.

Sonoma Wine & Cheese is a wine bar and bottle shop offering curated wines, artisan cheese, and shareable plates. We are seeking part-time and full-time cooks to prepare and present dishes that enhance the guest experience. Applicants must be available for midday, evening, and weekend shifts.

DUTIES: Prepare charcuterie boards, flatbreads, crostini, sandwiches, and grazing tables

Assemble charcuterie cups and boxes for to-go orders

Learn about artisan cheeses and meats served at Sonoma

Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and wash dishes as needed

Safely clean and use slicer and kitchen equipment

Communicate effectively with the team and identify kitchen needs

Assist with setup for events and displays

REQUIREMENTS: Passion for food, wine, and hospitality

Positive, professional demeanor and team-first mindset

Knowledge of food handling and safety standards

Strong communication and time management skills

Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency

Commitment to quality, presentation, and cleanliness

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Work midday, evening, and weekend shifts

Stand and walk for extended periods ( 8+ hours )

Bend, stoop, and reach into coolers and shelves

Lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds

Push, pull, and carry trays and supplies

Perform repetitive hand motions for slicing, prepping, and plating

COMPENSATION: Hourly pay plus tip out
