Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM Occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on operational needs. Responsibilities: Prepare portions, serve and store items according to recipes production sheets, portion controls and procedures. Wrap, label and date all stored food items. Maintain work area inspection readiness at all times and follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) procedures to provide patients/customers with safe food by properly recording temperatures and following safe food handling procedures, through the use of gloves and properly diluted sanitation solutions. Adhere to all safety standards in the execution of job duties. Complete all necessary preparation for next day services. Use and maintain all equipment according to proper safety procedures. Ensure that all food is delivered to designated areas in a timely manner and replenish foods as necessary using batch cookery as much as possible to ensure freshness. Report malfunctioning equipment immediately. Chill and store all leftover food properly and maintain a cooling temperature log consistently. Cleans large equipment as assigned, following established preventative maintenance procedures. Acts as back-up to dishwasher when necessary. Experience cooking in bulk preferred. Previous catering or kitchen experience is strongly preferred.
