Job Title: CNC Programmer / Machinist
Location: Spokane, WA
Wage: $27.00 – $32.00/hr DOE
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Are you an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist looking to join a cutting-edge manufacturing team? We are hiring for a growing company in Spokane, WA, that specializes in the design and production of high-performance metal sealing solutions used in aerospace, automotive, power generation, and R&D industries.
This is a hands-on role that involves both programming and machining in a precision environment. You will be responsible for writing G-code, setting up machines, and producing close-tolerance components used in critical applications.
As a CNC Programmer/Machinist you will be responsible for developing G code that direct our CNC machines to cut and shape metal to produce components for tools/dies and other industrial machined parts and tools efficiently and safely. Use CAD models and/or blueprints to define the configuration of the required components. Our machine shop utilizes primarily Haas lathes and mills for (rough cutting, finish cutting, shaping, pocketing, profiling, turning, drilling, tapping, threading, etc.).You will assist in the development of programs for others as well as yourself. You will be a working Machinist responsible for creating finished work.
Key Responsibilities: Program and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish metal components
Analyze job orders, CAD models, and blueprints to determine machining strategy
Develop efficient workflows, machining sequences, and tool paths
Generate Fanuc-compatible code using CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
Set up and operate Haas mills and lathes for production and prototyping
Conduct part inspections and make program adjustments to improve quality and performance
Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and shop floor teams to meet production goals Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency with Mastercam (intermediate level or higher)
Solid understanding of G-code and Fanuc controls
Hands-on experience with Haas and/or Hyundai CNC machines (4-axis knowledge a plus)
3D CAD/CAM experience—Pro/E or SolidWorks preferred
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Familiarity with Yasnak controllers is a plus Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of a 2-year CNC machining or programming program preferred
3+ years of experience in a CNC programming and machining environment
Stable employment history required Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while operating machines
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow all PPE and safety guidelines
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Additional Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
