About the Role:Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 13-week contract assignment on the afternoon shift. Located in the scenic town of Wakefield, MI, this position offers the opportunity to join a facility known for its high-quality, person-centered care and exceptional state survey results. Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Wakefield, MI Start Date: 05/06/2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: Afternoons | 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | 5x8s | 40 hrs/week Weekend Rotation: Typically 1 weekend off per month Requirements Experience: Minimum 3+ years CNA experience required Prior travel contract experience preferred Certifications & Licenses: BLS Certification (Required) Active CNA license in the state of Michigan at time of submission Other Requirements: Must have a personal vehicle or rental - no public transportation available in the area Job Responsibilities: Assist residents with daily Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and mobility Use safe and appropriate techniques for ambulation, transfers, and positioning, using assistive devices when needed Provide support with toileting and incontinence care Observe and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents Deliver compassionate, respectful, and individualized care Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Physical Setting: Level II trauma center Experience: Nursing: 3 years (Preferred) Travel nursing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Licensed Nursing Assistant (Preferred) BLS Certification (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Wakefield, MI 49968 (Required) Work Location: In person
