Position Summary Responsible for daily operations of the Critical Care Unit and Telemetry, overseeing work and call schedules for CVIR nurses. Ensures effective orientation and training on best practices to meet organizational goals in productivity, caregiver engagement, quality, and patient satisfaction. Develops communication infrastructure with physicians and staff to support the Cardiovascular Service Line. Works closely with the Clinical Director to expand and improve service lines. Responsibilities Demonstrates commitment to the organization's Mission and Core Values, supporting strategic plans and performance improvement initiatives. Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications. National certification in specialty preferred. Skills Strong clinical and leadership abilities, team facilitation, effective communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, motivation, organization, and collaboration with physicians and staff. Experience Minimum 5 years in clinical progressive care, with 2 years in management. Environment & Physical Requirements Works in a clean, ventilated environment with exposure to infectious diseases and emergencies. Must handle multiple patient care activities, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, and work flexible hours including emergencies.
