Join our dynamic Emergency Department team as a Clinical Nurse III! This is a full-time opportunity for night shifts where you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and competent care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing patient needs throughout their care journey. You will ensure that high-quality patient care is delivered consistently while collaborating with a dedicated caregiving team.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing physician orders and administering medications.
Starting IVs and performing necessary treatments and procedures.
Ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
Assessing and responding to patient care needs with sound nursing judgment.
Providing primary and emergency care for various health issues.
Collaborating with the nursing team to develop tailored care plans.
Guiding and directing ancillary personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
A degree from a professional academic nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree).
Current NYS Registered Nurse license.
Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC is required.
1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
A passion for continuous education and professional development.
Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and ability to apply them in patient care.

With 45 rooms, we have specialized zones for trauma, pediatrics, and acute care, among others.
