Clean Harbors is looking for a motivated and skilled Class B Driver (Retail Technician) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing environmental services that include the collection and responsible disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products. You will also participate in recycling activities involving light bulbs, oil, and various other materials, while assisting with on-site cleanup tasks. Why Choose Clean Harbors? Enjoy company-paid training and opportunities for tuition reimbursement. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices and acting responsibly. Pick up, pack, and transport damaged goods, recalled products, and waste materials. Load, pack, and properly segregate materials for safe transportation. Drive a box truck to visit retail customer locations. Prepare DOT shipping documents and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Use a laptop, printer, and handheld devices to assist in completing tasks efficiently. Conduct projects according to site-specific regulations and Clean Harbors' policies. Interact positively with customers at each stop. Perform additional duties as assigned to support team goals. Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License is essential. Must possess a Class B CDL. Strong customer service skills are necessary. Comfortable using technology such as laptops and handheld devices. Willingness to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements within six months of hire, at company expense. Ability to meet physical job requirements. Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination is required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior commercial driving experience is beneficial.
