Join Clean Harbors as a Class B CDL Retail Technician Driver to play a crucial role in providing essential environmental services! You will be responsible for the collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products, as well as recycling light bulbs, oil, oil filters, and other materials. Participate actively in on-site cleanup activities and make a positive impact on the environment.
Key Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift
Travel: Potential overnight travel, with hotel and per diem provided
Overtime: Available after 40 hours
Endorsements: Ability to obtain Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required

Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize health and safety by following all work practices and policies
Pickup, pack, and transport damaged and recalled goods
Segregate, load, and pack materials and waste for safe transport
Drive a box truck to visit retail customer locations
Interact with customers during each stop
Prepare DOT shipping documents accurately
Utilize technology such as laptops, printers, and handheld devices to complete tasks
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Conduct all tasks according to Clean Harbors policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid Class B CDL
Strong customer service skills
Ability to use technological devices including laptops and smartphones
Eligible to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 6 months, with company support
Capable of performing physical functions related to the job
Must pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination
Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous commercial driving experience
Route experience
Experience in manual labor
