The ideal candidate will have completed a surgical technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program and possess a strong understanding of sterile techniques, anatomy, and surgical procedures. They will also be able to maintain a safe and organized operating room environment, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available as needed. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Operative Preparation: Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including setting up equipment and supplies. Perioperative Care: Provide support to the surgical team during operations, maintaining aseptic techniques and monitoring patient safety. Post-Operative Care: Assist with patient recovery, including transferring patients to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a surgical technology program or accredited LVN/LPN program preferred. Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role preferred. Certifications: BLS certification required; CST certification within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN license required.
