Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is a local, independent, and physician-owned medical group with over 20 primary and specialty care departments, 90 providers, and 325+ clinical and support professionals. Since our founding by 10 physicians in 1949, we have grown and evolved to meet the needs of Boulder County and beyond.
We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our dynamic team in a locally owned and operated retail pharmacy that truly values strong, lasting patient relationships. This full-time position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, with an occasional 9 am - 12 pm Saturday shift, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists by preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, processing prescriptions, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-centered pharmacy environment.

Day shift schedules.
Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.
Job Duties: Works closely with pharmacists, health care professionals, team members and other pharmacies to fill prescription orders. Accurately enters patient profiles into computer. Prepares labels and receipts and checks prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.
Occasionally performs cash handling and accurately handles transactions at the cash register and records insurance information per Pharmacy department procedures.
Performs inventory support. Receives, unpacks, checks, marks and properly stocks drugs and supplies. Orders and maintains stock and Over-the-counter (OTC) specials. Competently operations inventory management software.
Adheres to rules and regulations of the State Board of Pharmacy governing technician activities.
Assists with the preparation of medication orders by compounding or mixing medications, including antigens under supervision of a physician. Checks all orders for completeness of information. Verifies patient information and proper physician authorization.
Will obtain vaccine administration certificate during employment

Education: High school Diploma or GED certificate.
Must provide proof of completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program and have some coursework in medical or pharmacy terminology.
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician required.
Previous Experience: 1 year previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a clinic, retail or hospital setting.
The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience: $18.91 - $25.21/hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36)
