Current School Year (CSY) Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support tailored to students with orthopedic impairments or orientation and mobility needs. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to develop and implement effective strategies and accommodations. Monitor and document student progress, adapting approaches as necessary to promote independence and success. Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise on OI and OMS strategies related to educational and mobility goals. Preferred Qualifications: Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) or Orthopedic Impairment Specialist. Experience working with students ages PreK-5th grade in educational settings. Demonstrated ability to adapt interventions for diverse learners with physical or mobility challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with school staff and families.
