Requirements
State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
Professional or Student Occupational Therapist Assistant experience
Responsibilities
Screening patients
Documenting progress toward identified objectives
Administering occupational therapy services as directed by a registered occupational therapist
Conducting patient and family education
Delivering quality occupational therapy services
Putting patient service first
Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Qualifications
Pass the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
