Job: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Location: Passaic County, NJ

Shift: 07:00 am – 03:00 pm EST

Basic Requirement: NJ CNA license, BLS

Local rate: $30/hr and $1200 weekly

Travel rate: $34.25/hr and $1,370 weekly

Responsibility:

Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and oral care

Feed residents and monitor food and fluid intake/output

Record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration

Answer call lights and respond to resident needs promptly

Provide catheter care and nail care

Transport residents via wheelchair and assist with mobility

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the care environment

Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff

Support clients’ comfort and personal appearance

Assist with simple and uncomplicated care procedures within CNA scope of practice

Requirements:

Valid CNA certification in the state of NJ

Current BLS/CPR certification preferred

Prior experience in long-term care or adult day health setting is a plus

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Must be dependable and able to work assigned shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled
