Located at 1821 S Stoughton Rd, you will play a crucial role in assisting with patient care and enhancing their experience. Job Summary: As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), LPN, EMT, or Paramedic, you will provide essential assistance to our healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care for our patients under their supervision. Key Responsibilities: Assist with treatments as directed by providers or registered nurses, performing specific clinical duties. Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, and accurately record patient information. Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. Carry out essential clerical tasks such as answering phones, managing records, scheduling appointments, and filing. Order and stock necessary supplies while maintaining overall organization of materials. Accurately document provider-patient encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescribed medications. Maintain a constant state of alertness for the safety and well-being of patients and staff. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; or equivalent experience in a medical environment. Graduates of accredited medical assisting programs are preferred. Experience: No prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates! Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, hearing, and communication are essential. Ability to lift/carry and push/pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs, occasionally moving patients. Occasional driving may be necessary. Required Certifications: BLS HealthCare Provider certification (American Heart Association), and one or more of the following certifications: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), or equivalent.
