Cell Lead II

The Cell Lead II will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and leading the activities of a cellular work team in support of assigned goals and objectives in a manufacturing environment. The Cell Leader II will manage employee time, approve time transactions in the ADP system, and will create performance related goals.

6th shift: Monday - Wednesday and every other Sunday from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

  1. Execute to the production schedule
  2. Assign employees to run equipment and jobs
  3. Ensure the area has the materials and supplies to meet production needs
  4. Ensure jobs are completed and meet quality standards and are on time
  5. Ensure machinery and equipment is running efficiently and effectively
  6. Provide employees onthejob training and mentoring
  7. Ensure employees are following work instructions and processes
  8. Provide daily updates through the Tier I process
  9. Communicate production issues, schedules, and priorities within and between teams
  10. Implement process improvements
  11. Create employee goals, performance initiatives and areas of accountability that are directly aligned with the goals of the company
  12. Ensure employees are following company guidelines, policies, and procedures
  13. Manage the manufacturing ERP systems for production
  14. Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  15. Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
  16. Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
  17. Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  18. Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of supervisory experience
  • 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing machinery, equipment, and processes
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to manage relationships and team facilitation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to take direction from and give input to the next level leader
  • Ability to collaborate and assist team members
  • Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Business/technical degree
  • Medical manufacturing experience
  • Familiar with ISO and FDA requirements
  • Certifications in a related field

Pay Range

USD $24.66 - USD $30.19 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
