Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver to join our logistics team, specializing in delivering equipment and products essential for our energy management and automation solutions. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and safe delivery of our high-value loads, directly impacting our commitment to efficiency and sustainability across global markets. Safely operate a flatbed truck to transport and deliver heavy machinery and other loads, ensuring secure and timely deliveries. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, performing preventative maintenance tasks as required. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Report defects, accidents, or violations and ensure the security of the load. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the transport process.
