This role specializes in safely transporting and managing containerized cargo utilizing flatbed trailers, essential for supporting Schneider's commitment to delivering energy technologies and solutions. You will be pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of our logistics and ensuring timely delivery of container pods to our clients. Safe operation of a flatbed truck and transportation of POD containers in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operations. Plan routes efficiently and communicate regularly with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries. Manage load securing for pod containers to prevent shifting, damage, or accidents during transportation. Demonstrate excellent customer service during drop-off and pick-up operations, representing Schneider Electric's professionalism and commitment to service. Document and maintain accurate transport logs and delivery records. Follow energy management best practices in driving techniques to optimize fuel consumption. Handle unforeseen situations on the road with calm and precision.
