This role specifically supports our PODS service, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of products leveraging our cutting-edge energy solutions. Safely operate a flatbed truck and transport PODS efficiently and securely. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Manage route planning and logistics to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to confirm pick-up and delivery schedules. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Handle documentation and paperwork for each load transported, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Act as an ambassador for Schneider Electric?s values and commitment to sustainability and energy-efficient solutions on the road. Proficiency in operating flatbed trucks and securing loads. Strong navigation and route management abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain concentration over long periods behind the wheel.
