Catering Server - Kia Forum The Catering Server is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The server should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The server is responsible for executing area setup and breakdown. This position executes the culinary event from start to finish. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Providing our guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations. Assisting with clearing/cleaning tables and running food. Responsible for the set up and breakdown of the event. Reporting any incidents that guests might have to their superiors. Adhering to location appearance guidelines. Following responsible alcohol service policies. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Following safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: Ability to work all events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays; must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or CA alcohol Responsible Beverage Service servers' permit.
