We are seeking a dedicated and versatile team member to join our operation. This role combines *kitchen duties*—including food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace—with *cashier responsibilities*, such as processing customer transactions, handling payments, and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing needs, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and portion guidelines.
* Follow all food handling and preparation procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
* Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen and food storage areas.
* Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
* Monitor ingredient and supply inventory; report shortages or restock needs promptly.
* Train and mentor new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and operational standards.
* Modify recipes when necessary to meet dietary restrictions or special requests.
* Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service at all times.
* Maintain a clean, welcoming, and customer-friendly store environment.
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet and exceed daily operational goals.
* Operate the electronic cash register to process customer sales accurately.
* Receive and handle cash transactions, providing correct change.
* Perform daily cleaning tasks and other assigned maintenance duties.
* Stock and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing store presentation.
* Identify and suggest creative solutions to operational challenges.
* Think quickly and provide helpful suggestions in fast-paced situations.
* Perform other duties as assigned by management.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
* Experience in menu planning is a plus, along with familiarity with various cooking styles and cuisines.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others in the kitchen are highly valued.
