Cardiac Monitor Tech | Nights | Full Time

Coordinates, organizes, and prioritizes unit activities as they are related to cardiac monitoring and observation in a manner that facilitates the health care team in the performance of their jobs. Handles multiple tasks and requests at the same time in a high-stress environment while meeting customer needs and deadlines. Performs a wide range of complex duties and coordinates a multitude of procedures in support of the nursing unit. Maintains a cooperative working relationship with patients, caregivers, families, visitors, physicians, and all departments in the medical center. Maintains and demonstrates competencies, including age specifics. Minimum Qualifications:

Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Successful completion of cardiac monitoring course within one year of hire.

Experience - Previous experience working with computers and cardiac monitoring preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must possess exceptional abilities to work with people of varied backgrounds. Must possess excellent organizational skills to prioritize, plan and carry out multiple events simultaneously. Must be able to focus on work activities in an environment where multiple, diverse and complex activities are occurring simultaneously.
