We are seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale capital investment projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, financial acumen, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Salary: $90-$120K DOE plus annual bonus under discretion of client
What You'll Do:
∙Provides the necessary leadership and is responsible for managing large and complex
capital improvement projects.
∙Facilitates the collection of project requirements, objectives, and expectations, and
clearly communicates this information to project teams.
∙Evaluate performance of project team members, or project managers assigned to the
function of project management.
∙Leads definition of project objectives, scope development, and front-end engineering in
support of the project development and execution.
∙Develops company's Project Management Process in execution of capital projects
∙To assure that any work binging performed is done in a timely manner and is coordinated
with any department that it might affected with the least amount of disruption to our
customers or employees.
∙To assure that the price is competitive on supplies and contracted work being performed
for the facilities.
∙To assure that any projects or maintenance items on the property has the necessary parts
on hand to complete the task at hand.
∙To assure that the annual facilities maintenance and capital improvement budgets are
followed to the number set by the chief financial officer. If the budget can’t be
maintained justification will be required.
∙Monitor the progress of the project and adjust as necessary to ensure the successful
completion of the project
∙Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to
ensure that it meets the project standards
∙Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures
∙Able to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
∙Accountable for project controls: project cost estimating, planning/scheduling, project
benchmarking, effective cost control/forecasting, effective project progress control,
contracting/procurement-plans, cash flow management and financial status of the project.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Four-year college degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a manager.
Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, components and devices, HVAC systems, boilers,
mechanical systems, and the maintenance/repair of all. Proficient knowledge of public
construction and building systems; all related permits, licensing, new and existing codes
pertaining to public building and fire safety. Ability to remain informed on state-of-the art
developments affecting the safe and effective operation of the building facility. Ability to analyze
all associated systems as to their design, intent, and effective performance. Skilled in use of
computers and software programs associate with property operations. Must be able to work in an
environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels. Knowledge of all hotel
and casino functions preferred.
