SUMMARY: The Cage Bank Shift Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the cage and the management of the cage supervisors.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor, direct, supervise and observe cage action in the overall casino operations for adherence to company policies and various regulatory requirements to safeguard the casino's assets and fund. Knowledgeable of Marketing Promotions and Casino events. Responsible for guest service, relations, and arbitrate disputes to assure that our guests have a favorable gaming experience. Assign or make changes in assignments of Team Members on assigned shifts. Submit at the end of respective shifts, all reports deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the department. Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests. Facilitate processes and programs to effectively control and reduce lost time injuries. Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Development of Team Members, interviews, hiring and evaluations. Assist Casino Bank Manager in preparation of reports and other administrative responsibilities as assigned. Review cage activities and promotions with the Casino Bank Manager. Assure that required facilities and equipment are available, clean, and functioning properly. Establish and maintain effective channels of communication upward, downward, and laterally. Maintain an updated knowledge of Gaming Laws/Regulations and internal controls applicable to areas of responsibility. Balance out beginning and end of shift for cage cashiers, employee transaction window and F&B employees. Reconcile and replenish ticket redemption and ATM machines as necessary. May act as Managerial Representative on Premises. Meet with Departmental Directors and Managers as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
