Job Summary: The Business Manager, Surgical Services is a key leader at Women & Infants Hospital, reporting directly to the Director of Finance and collaborating closely with the Director of Surgical Services. This role oversees the business and operational performance of the perioperative service line, including financial management, productivity analytics, supply chain coordination, and OR scheduling. This position also supervises the surgical scheduling team, ensuring efficient case flow, surgeon access, and optimal utilization of OR resources. The Business Manager acts as the operational link between clinical services and finance, applying a data-driven, solutions-focused approach to decision-making and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, Nursing, or related field is required. A Masters degree is preferred. Candidates should have 35 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, finance, or perioperative services. Experience managing staff and overseeing surgical scheduling or procedural operations is strongly preferred. Experience in an academic medical center or high-volume surgical environment is a plus.
