The Server Assistant provides assistance to the service, bartending, and host/hostess staff in maintaining the smooth operation of guest service in the restaurant. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Directs, implements, and maintains a philosophy congruent with Company culture, which serves as a guide to all staff members. Responsibilities Assist service, bartending, and host/hostess staff to maintain smooth operation of guest service. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Direct, implement, and maintain a philosophy congruent with Company culture that guides all staff members. Provide prompt, friendly service according to company guidelines. Ensure proper documentation for all accidents and incidents per Company policies and procedures. Maintain knowledge of property layouts, table/seat/station numbers, table setups, room capacity, hours of operation, price ranges, and dress codes. Maintain knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation methods, cook times, major ingredients, quality standards, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, garnish, and plate presentation. Be well organized, able to concentrate, and able to handle multiple guests during peak times. Maintain sanitation/health regulations and Company standards of operation. Inspect line workstations for cleanliness and organization; rectify deficiencies and maintain throughout the shift. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of assigned tables; reset tables after guest departures according to procedures. Replenish ware inside stations and bus tables; provide assistance to staff with guest needs.
