As we continue to expand our team at BOB Hotels Tallahassee , we are seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Front Desk Associate to join our team of professionals. This role is integral to the success of the property as our Front Desk staff are responsible for cultivating the expectation of excellence. We are a new face in the hospitality industry, and you will help us build the brand by being a fully contributing member, and voice, of the team.

Job Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of hotel
Perform thorough cleaning duties in guest areas and at the front desk
Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests
Collect valid payment methods for guestrooms
Ensure room assignments and reservation blocking are accurate at all times
Verify guest stay details and update as needed throughout the guest's stay
Booking and handling future reservations; making appropriate annotations to show special requests and needs
Communicate efficiently any concerns that would affect a future shift
Accurately update guest contact information
Maintain and uphold front desk departmental standards
Ensure prompt response on third-party platforms to enhance the pre-arrival guest experience
Respond promptly to guests' special requests for items like late checkouts, cribs, and extra towels
Report maintenance issues promptly
Complete your shift checklist daily
Follow departmental policies, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with other departments as necessary to provide optimal service to guests
Remove trash and debris in exterior and interior public spaces, as well as around the FD
Receive and handle food and supply shipments promptly and per health standards
Maintain good standards of cleanliness
Maintain a professional and neat look and appearance
Adhere to strict rules regarding health, safety, and food handling
Maintain good labeling and storage standards of all chemicals
Follow the BOB Essential Rules
Demonstrate a positive and respectful attitude to coworkers, vendors, and guests
Ensure the front desk, coffee shop, and boutique are fully stocked; notify management if a product is running low or out
Promptly resolve guest issues
Relay pertinent information to the appropriate channels
Follow-up to ensure guest concerns are addressed to their satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of hotel front desk experience
Be a team player with a positive attitude toward vendors, coworkers, and guests
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible & dependable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to pass a background check
Maintain a professional and neat look and demeanor
