This position serves as a stepping stone to the Mobile Expert role, where you will receive comprehensive training. Job Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional service and sales experiences by: - Assisting customers in seamlessly continuing their shopping journey, whether online, over the phone, or in-store. - Understanding individual customer needs and providing engaging demonstrations of our cutting-edge technology. - Collaboratively exploring personalized solutions, including unique accessories and advanced IoT devices, to keep customers connected. - Approaching all service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and empathy. Gain proficiency with digital tools to: - Showcase our expansive coverage in each customer’s neighborhood, highlighting the benefits of our lightning-fast LTE network. - Explain how T-Mobile plans and services enrich customers' lives through connectivity. - Complete required training on T-Mobile's in-store operations, enhancing your skills and knowledge of systems and resources. - Maximize productivity during your shifts by continuously seeking out information and learning about the latest innovations in wireless technology. Establish collaborative relationships with T-Mobile colleagues across different channels to: - Share responsibility for the customer experience and resolve any issues, ensuring a smooth, hassle-free environment. - Identify and refer potential small business leads. - Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace culture. Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED (Required) 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in a retail setting (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting with others (Required) A competitive spirit with a proven record of thriving in high-energy sales environments (Required) A willingness to collaborate with teammates and store leaders while serving customers and resolving issues (Required) Ability to balance customer needs with performance objectives (Required) Licenses and Certifications: At least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the United States Travel: No travel required. Compensation: Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour in training pay. During your first 90 days at T-Mobile, you’ll complete on-the-job training and qualify for hourly training pay. Afterward, you will advance to the Mobile Expert role, where you can earn an annual incentive target of $18,000/year based on performance and full-time status. All T-Mobile employees earn a guaranteed total of $20/hour, including base pay and incentives. Additionally, every employee can look forward to an Annual Stock Grant.
