Join our team as a Bilingual Retail Customer Service Specialist, an essential role for the success of our retail operations. In this position, you'll collaborate with wholesale and retail customers to meet their needs, provide answers regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions. We emphasize prompt resolution of customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction while maintaining high visual and quality standards for our products and store.
This full-time role is located at our West Olympia Store, specifically at 2303 Harrison Avenue NW, Olympia, WA 98502, and requires availability to work within a 10-mile radius of this location.
Starting pay is $23.00 hourly. As a Customer Service Specialist, your duties will include:
Delivering exceptional customer service that leads to high satisfaction.
Assisting customers both in-person and over the phone, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
Building strong, trust-based relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
Accurately processing sales transactions in accordance with company policies.
Meeting sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Maintaining accurate work order files and product formulas.
Managing inventory including pulling products from sales floor or warehouse and stocking shelves.
Tinting and mixing products to customer specifications.
Keeping the store clean and equipment maintained.
Loading/unloading delivery trucks and assisting with deliveries as needed.
Staying knowledgeable about products offered and discussing available options with customers.
Complying with inventory control procedures and suggesting ways to enhance sales.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
Must possess legal authorization to work in the country without needing sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally with or without accommodation.
Must be open to working scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED.
At least one (1) year of experience in retail, delivery, or customer service roles.
Previous experience selling paint and related products.
Experience with tinting and mixing equipment.
Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
