Bilingual Mental Health Therapist in Oregon In OFFICE- FULL TIME in Your Office or Ours
Position: Spanish/Bilingual (REQUIRED) Mental Health Therapist (Counseling).
You will need to have or obtain a Pre-License (Associate) or License in Oregon By Specific Board, and live in Oregon. This is a Hybrid position if you provide services at Barcelona Counseling's offices.
Barcelona Counseling is a small private practice Certified by the State (Certificate of Approval, COA), that strives to provide quality mental health services to the community, including the Latinx and Hispanic community by prioritizing the needs of the clients and the well-being of the therapists. For that reason, Mental Health Therapists focus on their clients' treatment only. We are contracted with Care Oregon, Yamhill Medicaid, Pacific Source Commercial and Medicaid, Aetna, Moda, Kaiser, Providence, First Choice, Optum, Cigna, etc.
Job Summary & Responsibilities: Provide clinical counseling services to clients (children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples).
Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination of your caseload.
Adhere to all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed.
Engage in team communication and requests including responding promptly to team members.
Participate in peer review, clinical consultation, and training opportunities.
Engage in clinical supervision each month in compliance with the Board’s requirements.
Daily completion of written client records including, but not limited to intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, and other forms of documentation.
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Master's or Doctoral level degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
Candidates must be pre-licensed registered associates with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT) or clinical social work associates with the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
Candidates must be able to practice in the State of Oregon without restrictions.
Pre-licensed registered associates must be in good standing with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists or the Board of Licensed Social Workers.
Applicants are required to pass a criminal background check.
Candidates are required to have computer skills and the ability to learn and utilize electronic health record software.
Candidates need to be willing to panel with health insurance carriers.
Preferred Applicant Experience & Skills: 1+ years of experience providing mental health services with direct client contact hours counseling individuals, and families.
Working knowledge of the principles and techniques of family and child therapy and experience providing services to child, adolescent, and family therapy clients.
Training and experience with EMDR Therapy are highly desired, or willing to be trained (paid by Barcelona Counseling).
Experience with youth working with Play Therapy or Art Therapy preferred.
Bilingual/Bicultural in Spanish is Required.
Compensation & Benefits: Guaranteed Minimum Income for Clinicians on the Flat Rate Compensation Model.
Flexibility as able in determining employee schedule, some evening or either Saturdays availability requested.
