Position Overview: We are searching for a full-time Dental & Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team. Our ideal hire is Bilingual: English/Spanish, has an excellent chairside manner, and is highly professional and patient focused. The Assistant serves to support and provide on-site training to enhance office efficiency and workflow, in preparation for specialty production days. The team member must enjoy teaching and interacting with staff members of all skill levels to improve patient experience and care. What we offer: $20-$22/hour PTO (after 1 year) Immediate Medical and In House Dental Benefits Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm schedule but flexible when needed Position Responsibilities: Assist surgeon with patient care sedations, organize treatment workflow to prepare for next patient treatment Supply and equipment inventory- prepare supplies & equipment used for specialty procedures Assist with pre-op and post op instructions Implement changes and provide education and feedback to providers, departments and offices in relation to denials that impact revenue Demonstrate exceptional integrity and composure with patients, staff and specialists Corresponding with patients, if requested, that have any questions about treatments Work with a great team of specialty assistants and surgeons Position Requirements: Professionalism BLS certified Open Dental experience, preferred Bilingual: English/Spanish, required
