Bilingual: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate activities of production team members to meet daily production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, OSHA, and company policies.
Lead shift start-up meetings and communicate goals, expectations, and production issues to team members.
Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing or workflow as needed to meet demand.
Train, coach, and evaluate team members; document performance and support disciplinary actions as needed.
Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, waste, and other key metrics; complete daily shift reports.
Communicate effectively with other shifts, maintenance, quality, and sanitation teams to ensure continuity and resolve issues.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment; coordinate with maintenance to address breakdowns or preventive maintenance needs.
Respond promptly to food safety or quality concerns in collaboration with the QA team.
Foster a positive team environment focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you must have:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or related field preferred.
2+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, food safety standards (GMP, HACCP), and OSHA regulations.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and production tracking systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
