You'll provide hands-on leadership to BHT staff-managing scheduling, training, and performance-while ensuring care is delivered safely, consistently, and in compliance with standards and licensing requirements.This is a key position for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people-centered environment. You'll help shape a supportive, therapeutic space for clients while building a strong, dependable team culture rooted in high-quality behavioral health care.This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours of Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with the occasional BHT shift coverage, when necessary. Wage placement is based on relevant work experience and education.Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: Three years of experience providing direct behavioral health services to individuals with severe mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, or intellectual/ developmental disabilities. Post secondary education in a related field can substitute on a year for year basis for up to two years of experience. One year in a supervisory or lead role within behavioral health or a related field.License/Certification: Current CPR Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire. Valid driver's license with the ability to clear JAMHI auto insurance screening.Preferred Qualifications: Experience supervising unionized staff Behavioral Health Assistant Occupational EndorsementAll JAMHI positions require the ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with the current state regulation requirements and a valid Alaska driver's license and be able to clear the JAMHI auto insurance screening through the independent insurance carrier and/or if drivingPay Range: $29.33 - $37.24 per hour
