A Culture of Support – Join a team that understands the importance of a workplace built on integrity, compassion, and collaboration.Role Essential Responsibilities:Responsible to maintain coverage for all open shiftsWeekly 1:1 meetings with Development Director Review time cards and approve time bi-weekly (Monday)Attend weekly meetings with all other supervisors and Development DirectorConduct monthly Behavioral Health Technician meetings as a group, along with the Development DirectorPromote consistency at all times Follow the on-call procedure for site Audit all daily checklistsAudit kitchen for Department of Health standardsTaking ownership when problem solvingFollow chain of commandNotify the Development Director when any corrective action is needed within 24 hours of incidentAll corrective action needed to be completed and presented within 72 hours of incidentEnsure Development Director is involved in all Disciplinary Action meetingsComplete monthly rounding and keep on fileHave on-call phone once per monthEmail Development Director maintenance requests within 24 hours if non-emergencyCheck kitchen every morning for cleanlinessConduct/coordinate fire drills once per monthFollow up daily to ensure that the client UA's are completedShow recognition on a weekly basis through email and include the Development DirectorSend weekly emails to the Development Director about hiring needs Train and develop new hires Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of program philosophy and policies and procedures, Rule 45G requirements, house operations, including client rights and confidentialityComplete and assist counselor with intake/admission procedures, orientation of new clients and coworkersEncourage clients to achieve their goals by functioning as a positive role modelParticipate in client recreational activities with a positive attitudeServe as a resource for clients through knowledge of services and opportunities in the communityAdminister client medications and document accordinglyDocumentation of client information in the communication's log and completion of other formsClearly understand the program mission and how this work integrates with and advances the goals of the programUse sound decision making skills, exhibiting good judgment and realistic understanding of issuesObjectively document client-related topics in client files and communication logsBe diplomatic and exhibit sensitivity toward other staff and client's feelings, needs, values and opinionsHave a willingness to seek assistance in making decisionsContinuously seek out to improve by suggesting solution to operational struggles through soliciting input form co-workers including treatment directorRespond constructively to feedback with an open mindInteract, communicate and collaborate with team members to support the mission of NBHDemonstrate behavior that shows employee is striving to maintain a positive environment by role modeling appropriate language and using respectful social skillsParticipate in staff meetings Maintain current knowledge of facility/house and client activitiesPlan work tasks to coincide with programming requirementsSet priorities in monitoring clients, completing rounds, documentation of pertinent information and completion of other assignmentsAvailable, in a friendly, respectful, dignified manner to clients for questions and other assistanceHandle multiple tasks simultaneouslyIs highly dependable and can be counted on to work independently, having the ability to work with little directionRequirements:High school diploma or GEDSuccessfully complete a background studyMust know and understand the implications of 245G, sections 245A.65, 626.557, and 626.5572, and Chapter 260E.Must understand and follow NBH's Drug and Alcohol PolicyMust be eighteen years oldCPR and First Aid certified or willing to participate in courses provided by NBHMust have a valid Minnesota driver's license and acceptable driving recordProficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet researchPhysical ability to perform the responsibilities of the position which include, bending, stopping, sitting, walking and lifting at least 30 poundsPIfbb7fd06bf65-30070-38395660
