Website: The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) manages the immediate milieu of patients, facilitates group therapy, aids with activities of daily living, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Consistently provides supervision for assigned patients. Facilitate psycho-educational groups. Clearly documents observations of patient behavior. Qualifications
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in human services field preferred. Two+ (2+) years of education focused on nursing, psychology, social service, medicine or related field or completion of EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, Security Training program or equivalent preferred. At least one year relevant experience preferred. Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.
