SUMMARY:
The Pearl Bartender embodies the elegance and expertise of Pearl, our lobby champagne bar . Drawing inspiration from London's most revered drinking establishments, Pearl offers a sanctuary where rare vintages meet revolutionary mixology in an atmosphere of discreet indulgence . This role will curate unforgettable experiences, guiding guests through our curated selection of champagne, rare spirits, and signature cocktails with polished grace. By delivering impeccable service , the Pearl Bartender will uphold La Bahia Hotel & Spa's service standards (inspired by Forbes) while elevating our beachfront property.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY:
Prepare and serve champagne, classic cocktails, and signature drinks with exacting standards, every detail from glassware to garnish, must reflect Pearl's sophistication. Maintain an expert-level understanding of champagne, spirits, and mixology, capable of discussing vintages, tasting notes, and cocktail histories with guests. Provide anticipatory, discreet, and personalized service, whether recommending a rare bubbly or crafting a bespoke cocktail. Manage inventory of premium liquors and champagnes, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and minimal waste. Read the room effortlessly, balancing polished professionalism with warm, approachable charm. Work seamlessly with the La Bahia's culinary team to elevate the overall guest experience. Contribute creative input to cocktail development, drawing inspiration from Pacific Island flavors and California's coastal terroir. Remember and acknowledge returning guests with tailored recognition. Ensure bar area is clean, well-stocked, and adheres to health/safety standards. Manage inventory, uphold pristine cleanliness, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Handle cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems. Demonstrate wine list familiarity for preliminary beverage inquiries. Maintain impeccable grooming standards, wearing the assigned uniform exactly as specified (proper fit, cleanliness, and presentation at all times. Wear the official hotel lapel pin prominently as part of the uniform requirement, unless embroidered onto uniform. Perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager. QUALIFICATIONS: (3+) years of experience in high-end hotel bars, champagne lounges, or luxury cocktail venues required. Advance knowledge of champagne, wine, and spirits highly preferred. Mastery of classic cocktail techniques and a flair for refined presentation. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and left/carry up to 25 lbs. Multilingual abilities highly preferred. Capable of maintaining composure during peak hours. Familiarity with POS system and inventory management. Flexible to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for guest interactions. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
