Come for a JOB, stay for a CAREER. Banquet Server Overview Activities of the banquet server include setting the tables per the banquet event order (BEO). During a business meeting you would refresh waters, coffee, or light snacks. While a social event is going on the server will serve food and beverages or refresh the buffet to accommodate the guests. See to the comfort of guests by answering questions, taking orders and relaying important special orders and allergies to the kitchen. Responsibilities Greeting each guest as they enter the venue to assist with finding their seat/place. Assist in the preparation and the end of the banquet event. Banquet service experience is preferred but not required; we will train the right person. Ability to read and understand the Banquet Event Order. Support other staff members. Respond to the guest in a professional and timely manner. Able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
