Role Summary Join our team as a Banquet Server and become an integral part of our story. In this role, you will deliver exceptional food and beverage service to guests at venues and catering events. Drawing on your experience and expertise, you will welcome guests, accurately take orders, serve the appropriate drinks and dishes, and ensure beverages are constantly replenished throughout the event. Core Responsibilities Event Operations Complete setup and breakdown of banquet areas with attention to detail Maintain thorough knowledge of event and venue layouts, including table, seat, and station assignments Execute proper table setups according to event specifications Guest Service Excellence Anticipate guest needs and consistently exceed service expectations Engage with guests regarding their needs and satisfaction with food and beverage offerings Deliver consistently caring and high-quality service throughout events Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and special requests Food & Beverage Service Accurately and efficiently take food and beverage orders Input orders into the Micros system with precision Relay orders to kitchen and bar staff while communicating allergies and special dietary requirements Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations Operational Excellence Operate, maintain, and properly clean all food and beverage equipment Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain food safety standards Uphold high levels of cleanliness and sanitary practices Maintain composure and efficiency in fast-paced environments Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times General Duties Comply with attendance policies and maintain reliable availability Perform additional job-related duties as assigned Pay Rate: $10.35 + tips
Qualifications
Must be able to adhere to timelines in completion of set-ups. Must be able to work well under pressure Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written Must be highly detail orientated At least 1 year of server experience Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs. Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol. Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
