JOB SUMMARY:

A Banquet Server is responsible for the set up and the service of all assigned banquet functions.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Set up banquet and event spaces according to the provided floor plans and specifications Ensure all tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment are arranged correctly Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information about the event and venue facilities Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner Monitor and replenish food and beverage stations to ensure a continuous and high-quality service Collaborate with the kitchen and catering staff to coordinate timing of food service Clear tables and clean up after events, ensuring a neat and organized event space Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally Work closely with the event coordinator to ensure seamless execution of events Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude throughout the event Assist with event breakdown and cleanup after the conclusion of the event Attend pre-event meetings and trainings as required Follow proper uniform and grooming standards for a polished and professional appearance Stay informed about menu items and special dietary requests to accurately communicate information to guests. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role Strong knowledge of banquet and event service procedures Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
