Now, we’re looking for a Banquet Houseperson to join our exceptional events team. Job Summary: As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for setting up, breaking down, and servicing all meeting and banquet spaces. Your work is essential to creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring every room is perfectly prepared and refreshed to meet their needs. Key Responsibilities: Set up meeting and banquet rooms according to event specifications, including transporting tables, chairs, staging, and dance floors Break down meeting rooms post-event and return equipment to storage Supply and refresh meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all meeting spaces according to schedule Replenish beverages and check with guests for satisfaction as needed Communicate regularly with supervisor and team to stay updated on assignments Anticipate equipment needs based on event orders and ensure all necessary items are on hand Attend monthly departmental meetings Follow all safety, cleanliness, and teamwork policies including “Clean as You Go” and “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work” Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Ability to follow instructions accurately—both verbal and written Strong attention to detail Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed A problem-solver with a guest-first mindset Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods, including walking and stair climbing Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height and up to 50 lbs. frequently Capable of frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling If you’re passionate about hospitality, love creating seamless event experiences, and enjoy working with a team that feels like family, we’d love to hear from you.
