Who You Are:
An integral member of the banquet service team, the Banquet Bartender is a knowledgeable and hospitality-driven professional responsible for crafting high-quality cocktails, serving beverages efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests at private events, receptions, and large-scale functions. The Banquet Bartender must have a solid understanding of classic and specialty cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits while ensuring smooth beverage service at events. This role requires adaptability, efficiency, and professionalism in a fast-paced banquet environment.
What You'll Do:
Consistently support a culture of exceptional service and hospitality. Demonstrate general bartending expertise while maintaining speed, efficiency, and accuracy. Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, creating a hospitable and inviting bar experience. Anticipate member and guest needs while managing multiple orders in a high-volume setting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tools, glassware, and workstations. Communicate effectively with banquet staff, management, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service. Demonstrate an eagerness to continue learning and growing. Work as a Server when needed. Perform additional responsibilities and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success. What We Need From You: 3+ years' experience as a bartender in a restaurant, banquet, or event setting preferred. Passion for wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Strong ability to work efficiently in high-volume, fast-paced banquet environments. Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time. Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks, and/or glasses, and lift objects up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
