Overview Bakery Production Team Member (Food Preparation) - Part Time Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $25.40/hr. This range is provided by Whole Foods Market. Responsibilities Performs all functions relating to preparation, counter service, and stocking of product. Decorates and finishes cakes and pies. Produces quality breads and pastries; doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars. Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling of products; stocks dry products. Develops new recipes and production techniques to ensure seasonal variance and high productivity. Trains production personnel to the highest standards in industry; performs production planning and forecasting for special events and holidays. Maintains all production modules in the Datapax system; adheres to health, safety, and sanitation standards. Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; participates in required trainings and meetings. Provides excellent customer service, answers phones and pages promptly and courteously; supports sales through effective prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising. Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, safe work practices; maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment. Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports safety hazards and violations. Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
