Ace is looking for an Auto Body Technician. The Primary purpose of this job is to perform body and paint maintenance on all fleet vehicles. Clean driving record, and have, or be willing to acquire, CDL license. Experience in auto body repair and painting is necessary. Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with Overtime. Starting wage $28.00/hour Experience and Skills Must have full use of body and senses to use heavy machinery, lift heavy parts, and repair heavy equipment. Good eyesight and depth perception are necessary for most jobs. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Auto Body work is very physical and requires heavy back, shoulder, and forearm strength. All of the day will be spent standing with frequent squatting, bending, reaching and twisting. Bending and flexing of the arms, wrists, and hands is very frequent throughout the day. Senses of sight, hearing, smell and speech are required. Ability to climb and balance are necessary. Knowledge of all types of auto body repair is essential, such as plastic, fiberglass, and metal.
