Associate Attorney

Our immigration practice serves individuals, families, and businesses across a wide range of immigration matters. We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated, experienced Immigration Attorney who is passionate about immigrant rights and committed to excellence in advocacy.
Position Type : Full-time Experience Required : 3–6 years in U.S. immigration law Start Date : Flexible Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload including: Family-based petitions (I-130, K visas, Adjustment of Status, etc.) Humanitarian relief (Asylum, U Visas, VAWA, TPS, SIJS) Removal defense (EOIR proceedings, motions, appeals) Employment-based immigration (PERM, H-1B, L-1, O-1 preferred but not required)
Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, ICE, and appellate bodies Supervise paralegals and legal assistants in preparing filings Maintain clear and timely communication with clients Contribute to firm strategy and community outreach efforts Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing (IL bar preferred, but not required) Minimum 3 years of direct immigration law experience (removal defense and family-based immigration required) Strong knowledge of immigration statutes, procedures, and practice Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Fluency in Spanish or another second language is a strong plus Demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights and social justice What We Offer Performance-based bonus structure Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and paid holidays CLE and bar dues covered Supportive, collaborative work environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
