About the Role

The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development in Health Affairs. The successful candidate will be a strategic, collaborative, and aspirational fundraising professional responsible for managing and collaborating with Chief Development Officers in the health affairs sector. This role involves establishing strategic direction and goals for capital campaigns, as well as overseeing fundraising and donor development activities, alumni engagement, stewardship, brand building, and impact reporting. The AVC will work closely with key constituents, leadership, and development teams to secure philanthropic funding that aligns with the mission of the health affairs division.

Applicants for the AVC position should possess a collaborative, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven track record in leading fundraising efforts and cultivating relationships with prospects. The role requires the management of a personal portfolio of major and principal gift prospects, including engagement with prominent alumni and other potential funders to secure significant contributions.
