Cosmo Prof Job Title : Assistant Manager Essential Function Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences. They oversee all store operations and maintain brand standards. They develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in these areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is absent. Primary Duties Brand : Supervise and support associates in achieving daily goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences to maximize sales and KPIs. Focus on in-store selling and Omni-channel strategies. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, marketing, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands. People : Engage, train, and develop team members. Recruit externally as needed. Identify strengths and opportunities for associates and provide coaching or counseling. Maintain positive relations and communicate regularly with team and peers. Promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Operations : Ensure execution of company processes through training and analysis. Support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. Manage inventory, payroll, and store opening/closing procedures. Follow company directives and projects timely and accurately. Safety / Loss Prevention : Maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. Follow policies to protect assets, control inventory and cash, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.
