divh2Operations Manager Or Merchandising Manager/h2pAs an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager you will provide oversight of store operations and/or merchandising, delivering excellent customer service. You will teach, coach, and develop associates to execute operational, service and merchandising processes focused on consistent execution and efficiency. You will be accountable for the overall results and success of all key performance measures with a primary goal of driving sales and profitability./ph3What Youll Do/h3ulliEnsure sound operational processes, including receiving and processing product, stockroom management and omni channel fulfillment/liliDrive accuracy through completion of all required business directives such as merchandise disposition practices/liliMaintain appropriate levels of product on the sales floor by planning and directing floor replenishment as necessary based on sell through and seasonal changes/liliLead efforts at point of sale and customer service departments to deliver speed of service transactions while creating a compelling customer experience/liliEnsure that store merchandising standards follow visual merchandising direction, accomplishing product presentation; make decisions about and adaptations to merchandising direction based on the layout, adjacencies and needs of the store; ensure product is displayed in a manner which is clear and easy to understand and is compelling to the customer/liliMaintain appropriate levels of product on the sales floor by planning and directing floor remerchandising and replenishment as necessary, based on sell through and seasonal changes/liliDirect, teach and train associates to accurately execute all company merchandising direction to brand standards in a timely manner/liliLead execution of pricing activities in the store, ensure that price changes, sign changes and ticketing procedures are completed accurately and efficiently/liliSupport prevention of loss by educating associates, monitoring daily store activity, maintaining product protection standards, ensuring company policies are followed and partnering with Loss Prevention/liliManage the training processes for new hires, ensuring associates are skilled on process best practices, proper inventory procedures, productivity and merchandising standards, product knowledge and how to leverage Kohls tools and resources/li/ulpAll manager roles at Kohls are responsible for:/pulliManaging with integrity, honesty and fostering teamwork in an engaged and inclusive culture/liliExercising good judgment and discernment when making decisions; taking appropriate partners as needed/liliModeling, enforcing and providing direction and guidance to associates/liliDemonstrating, coaching and developing a customer service mindset, including customer service techniques, anticipating customer needs and satisfactorily resolving issues/liliEnsuring the store has strong operational standards, shortage mitigation, and merchandising presentation to include accurate pricing and proper signing/liliMonitoring and adjusting resources as the business dictates to support customer needs and workload demands/liliAssessing key performance indicators (KPIs) to make informed business decisions that drive overall store results/liliManaging talent, including hiring, training, developing, and supervising/liliAccomplishing multiple tasks within established timeframes/liliTraining, monitoring and reinforcing company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines/liliMaintaining adherence to company safety policies and ensuring the safety of associates and customers/liliOther responsibilities as assigned/li/ulh3What Skills You Have/h3pRequired/pulliMust be 18 years of age or older/liliExperience supervising teams or associates, including the responsibility for coaching to achieve daily goals and performance management/liliGreat verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills/liliExcellent decision-making and problem-solving skills to make quick decisions/liliStrong people management skills and ability to develop talent/liliFlexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays/li/ulpPreferred/pulliExperience working in a retail environment, preferably in a managerial position/liliCollege degree OR equivalent combination of education and 2 years experience in retail or similar industry/li/ul/div
