Role The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the boutiques growth and maintaining the brand image within the local market. They ensure optimal operational and merchandising standards, motivate the sales team, and act as the brands representative in the Store Directors absence. Sales Development and Growth: Lead the creation and implementation of strategies to achieve sales targets. Identify and cultivate High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) sales while tracking related metrics. Monitor sales team KPIs and provide strategic support to meet targets across the board. Enhance sales techniques and actively lead on the sales floor through coaching, client engagement, and events. Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to capitalize on new sales opportunities. Uphold Visual Merchandising (VM) standards in alignment with the brands vision and key control points (KCPs). Train the sales team on leveraging CRM tools to drive repeat business and adjust strategies based on analytical insights. Team Leadership and Development: Direct, inspire, and hold the sales team accountable for achieving KPIs and strengthening client relationships. Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to the team on client interactions, ensuring unique client experiences and exceptional service. Partner with HR to support career growth and prepare the sales team for future leadership roles. Your Profile Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally within the luxury retail sector. Experience in High Jewelry and Watch sales is a plus. Demonstrated strategic agility with the ability to lead and inspire teams. Proven track record of achieving outstanding business results. Ability to strategize, make quick decisions, and implement effective business actions. Strong managerial background focused on nurturing and empowering diverse teams. Deep knowledge of the local retail market, with expertise in client development and building industry relationships. Proficiency in merchandising techniques. Familiarity with retail systems such as Beanstore, Salesforce, and SAP. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
