Overall Store Experience Leads the associate and pet parent experience; handles pet parent concerns in person, over the phone, or online; assists with reservations for hotels, salons, and training; oversees services (salon, training, hotel, day camp), live pet sales and adoptions; evaluates operations and seeks improvements; oversees store events and marketing; ensures policy compliance and ethical standards; conducts monthly Services Walks; responds to sick/injured pets; participates in opening/closing procedures. Business Management Drives growth, monitors store P&L, controls expenses, leverages home office resources for work orders and card allocations; coordinates with services teams on productivity and scheduling to achieve goals. Qualifications 3-5 years of retail leadership or customer-focused experience Full-time availability; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Proficiency in computer applications Strong written and verbal communication Ability to perform under pressure and maintain composure Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Supervisory Responsibility Typically oversees one to six lead associates and ten to seventy non-leader associates Physical Demands and Work Environment Stand, walk, climb, use hands; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100+ pounds occasionally with assistance Occasional exposure to moving parts, pet hair, and live animals; moderate noise with possible higher levels Employer Statement PetSmart is an equal opportunity employer.
