As an Assistant Retail Operations Manager, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional Clean, Friendly, and In-Stock experience for our customers. Your leadership will help maintain Buc-ee's high standards during the Store General Manager's absence. Compensation: $125,000 / salary Key Responsibilities: Act in the capacity of Store General Manager when required. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Point of Sale systems and transaction devices. Quickly resolve customer and employee issues in a friendly and professional manner. Delegate tasks effectively and conduct inspections based on the shift duty list. Maintain professional communication with the Store General Manager and team members. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local retail laws. Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff. Enforce safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment. Utilize POS devices competently and efficiently. Proactively identify and resolve customer and store needs. Interact professionally with all team members. Perform additional tasks as assigned. Requirements: Degree from a college or university; or 1-2 years of relevant experience in retail management. Preferred retail or management background. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Prolonged periods of standing and walking for 8-12 hours necessary. Willingness to work during peak store hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes both day and night shifts.
